About the instructors:
Having spent several years in the food industry, Rose Maizner is now the Community Marketing Specialist for HappyBaby. In addition to working closely with community organizations, moms groups and like-minded retailers as part of a grass-roots marketing campaign, Rose is also heavily involved in HappyBaby’s education initiative to help parents understand the fundamentals, and the importance, of infant and young child nutrition.
Robert Perkins graduated from the Western Culinary Institute in 2002 and has since worked on the culinary teams of several well-known establishments across the country, including a turn as sous-chef at the six-diamond rated Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina. In Salt Lake, Chef Perkins has worked with Chef Franck Peissel as sous-chef and co-collaborator at both L’Avenue and, now, at Franck’s Restaurant, the award-winning, 4-star sister restaurant to Tuscany.
