Cooking Class at Whole Foods SLC
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009HAPPYFAMILY cooking class Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30pm at Whole Foods Market, 6930 South Highland Drive
Admission is free and participants will receive a coupon for a complimentary box of any of HappyFamily’s products, valid at all Whole Food stores
Learn how to create an easy, nutritious and tasty meal for baby, using healthy, all-natural ingredients. Our goal is to change how baby food is perceived, from a taste, color and nutrient perspective and to change the perception that only jarred food is convenient. We want to encourage parents to ‘think outside the jar’ and feed their babies fresh organic foods that will shape young tastes for life. To that end, participants in this class will learn how to make two of our most popular and most nutritious baby meals. Rose Maizner, Community Marketing Specialist for HappyFamily, will also provide a brief presentation on nutrition, including tips and hints from the experts, more recipe ideas and suggestions for how to get the whole family excited about healthy eating. For all the big kids in attendance (parents included!!), we’ll also have some healthy snacks on hand that were made using the baby meals we’ll be making in class. Finally, we’ll also be giving away our HappyFamily Nutrition Manuals, written and endorsed by renowned pediatrician Dr. Robert Sears.
